Charlene M. Schurr, age 76 of Eustis, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 at the 
Bryan LGH Medical Center at Lincoln.

Services will be held on Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. John’s 
Lutheran Church in Eustis with Pastor Beverly Rautenberg-Panko officiating.  
Burial will be in the East Cemetery at Eustis.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the church in Eustis.  

Charlene was born on Dec. 22, 1934 at Eustis to Edwin and Elsie (Holbein) 
Hueftle.  She graduated from Eustis High School.

On Nov. 6, 1955, Charlene married LaRaye Schurr at Eustis. Their union was 
blessed with three children; Sherry, Glenda and Arlo. 

She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, LaRaye Schurr of Eustis; 
daughters, Sherry (Lee) Hueftle of Eustis, Glenda (Michael) Naughtin of 
Olathe, Kan.; son, Arlo (Lisa Pleschourt) Schurr of Eustis; brother, Lynn 
(Marilyn) Hueftle of Lexington; sister, Norma (Roland) Lauer of Gothenburg; 
seven grandchildren, Kristine (Dell) Moninger, Kara (Brett) Herrman, Kevan 
Hueftle, Elise Naughtin, Michaela Naughtin, Tyler (Kayelon) Schurr, Miranda 
Schurr; four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Lukas, Keeley and Coralee and many 
other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Duane Hueftle and a 
brother-in-law, Raymond Buehner.
