Josephine “Jo” B. Dickerson, 88, of Denver, Colo., died Feb. 10, 2009 at the 
Hospice of St. Johns in Lakewood, Colo.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at Aspen Mortuaries in 
Lakewood, Colo., with Father Patrick Dorn officiating.

Survivors include her sister, Marie Bigelow, of Lexington; nephew James 
Bigelow of Sacramento, Calif.; two great-nephews; two great-nieces and two 
great-great nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Glen Melosh.

Jo was born on Oct. 23, 1920 in Smithfield to Martha and Glen Melosh. She 
attended school in Smithfield, then graduated from Barnes Business College in 
Denver, Colo.

She went on to work for many different lawyers, including Bruno and Sons, 
Caulkins, Kramer, Grenshaw and Herring and Wegner and Associates.
Jo loved her cats as her immediate family and attended church regularly.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Aspen Mortuaries of Colorado.
