Sandra Lee Glinsmann, 62, of Elwood, died Aug. 26,  2009 at home after battling
cancer and end stage COPD for four years.

Sandy has donated her body to medical science in the hopes of helping someone
else with their illness.

She is survived by her Aunt Lovie Ridner and sister Opal Sue Kelly, both of Iowa
and her husband Randy Glinsmann of Elwood.

Sandy was born in Des Moines, Iowa on March 3, 1947 to Phillip and Millie Hill
and was adopted by Floyd Hemminger at six years of age.  She graduated from Des
Moines Technical High School, going on to graduate Area x1 College with a degree
in nursing in 1970.  She married Randy Glinsmann on Dec. 3 1999 and settled in
Elwood in July of 2003.  She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
