Lowell Victor Hansen, age 83, of Brush, Colo., formerly of Boulder, Colo., 
died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 at Eben Ezer Skilled Nursing Center, at Brush, 
Colo. 

Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m. at Elwood Funeral Home at 
Elwood, with Donald Hansen, officiating. 

Burial was in the Elwood Cemetery with military honors given by the American 
Legion Post #290 of Elwood.

Elwood Funeral Home, of Elwood, was in charge of the arrangements.

He was born on Dec. 25, 1924 at Elwood, to Otto and Elizabeth (DeBoer) Hansen. 
He attended school at Elwood High School and graduated with the Class of 1942. 

On July 17, 1945, he married Inez Corder in Norton, Kan. 
 
He is survived by his wife, Inez Hansen of Boulder, Colo.; sons, Eric Hansen 
of Santa Fe, Texas, Mark Hansen of Belton, Texas, Kim Hansen of 
Fredericksburg, Texas; daughter, Lynne Hansen of Lafayette, Colo.; brothers, 
Howard Hansen of Jacksonville, Fla., Donald Hansen of St. Charles, Mo.; 
sisters, Althea (Carroll) Schroeder of Eustis, Dorothy (Ernest) Fiene of 
Elwood, Lola (Bill) Debban of Elwood; seven grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
