Dennis Lee “Denny” Waddle, 60, of Elwood, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at 
his home near Elwood.

The family has honored Denny’s wishes that his body be cremated and there will 
be no visitation.
 
A memorial service will be held Monday, April 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Parkview 
Baptist Church with Pastor John Shields and the Rev. Rod Thelander officiating.

He was born May 29, 1950, at Concordia, Kan., to Clyde C. and Esther Rosalie 
(Carver) Waddle.  Denny was a 1968 graduate of Superior High School.  
 
Denny was united in marriage to Boni Leigh Moranville on Aug. 8, 1970, at 
Mitchell.  Two children were blessed to this marriage, Brandon Scott and 
Keeley Patricia.
 
Denny is survived by his wife, Boni Waddle of Elwood; one son Brandon (Jaime) 
Waddle of Lake Panorama, Iowa; one daughter Keeley (Eric) Sperry of Johnstown, 
Colo.; his father,  Clyde C. Waddle of Superior; father-in-law, Howard 
Moranville of Mitchell; one brother,  Daryl “Bud” (Holly) Waddle of Olathe, 
Kan., six sisters,  Becky (Kent) Madsen of Lamar, Colo., Chris (Rick) Hiatt of 
Superior, Sheryl (John) Druba of Superior, Mary ( Reverend Rod) Thelander of 
Wichita, Kan., Ged (Dr. Bob) Leibel of Superior, Lori (Phil) Kaufhold of 
Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren, Jaelyn Rose, Ella Jean and Mia 
Celeste Waddle of Lake Panorama, Iowa, Lauren Leigh and Ericson Franklin 
Sperry of Johnstown, Colo.; two brothers-in-law, James (Linda) Moranville of 
Kansas City, Mo., Gary (Pam) Moranville of Ault, Colo.; one sister-in-law, 
Sandi (Craig) Kern of Estes Park, Colo., and many nieces, nephews, other 
relatives and friends.
 
Denny was preceded in death by his mother in 1993; grandparents; mother-in-law 
and stepmother-in-law.
