Robert Yost, age 85 of Elwood, died April 27, 2008 at his home in Elwood.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the 
First United Methodist Church in Elwood with Rev. Connie Karr officiating.  

Burial will be prior to services at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at 
Maxwell with military honors.

There will be no visitation.  
   
Survivors include his wife, Harriet of Elwood; a daughter, Linda Adams of 
Lexington; a granddaughter, Sara (Leo Gill) Caballero of Lexington; a 
grandson, Gus Adams of Lexington; two great-grandchildren, Camron Caballero 
and Michael Gill; a brother, Gary Yost of Holdrege; two sisters, Dorothy 
Bruntz of Hastings and Bonnalea Casey of Lincoln and many other relatives and 
friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and two sisters.

He was born Nov. 13, 1922 at Harvard to Phillip and Ellen (Krug) Yost.  He 
graduated from Harvard High School in 1941 and served in the U. S. Army during 
World War II.

On Aug. 7, 1949, he married Harriet Nelson at Newman Grove.
