W. Ammerman B. W. Ammerman was born at Plymouth, Nebraska, February 19, 1888, the son of Winfield and Ida (Shindoll) Ammerman. His father, who was a farmer, died at Plymouth, in 1922; his ancestry was German and Irish. Mr. Ammerman has been manager of the Scotia Independent Telephone Company for the past 21 years. He holds membership in the Commercial Club and the Red Cross, is a member of the Village Board of Scotia, Nebraska, is affiliated with the Scotia Methodist Church, and holds membership in the Shrine body of the Masons. His hobbies are reading and mechanics and his favorite sport is baseball. He is also director of the Scotia Municipal Band. On November 22, 1910, he was married at Plymouth, Nebraska, to Alvina Williamina Sperling, who was born at DeWitt, Nebraska, August 22, 1892. One daughter was born to them: La Verna, May 13, 1914, who died July 13, 1921. Residence: Scotia.
