LOCATION:  The corner of 4th Ave and Salem Rd, east of Boelus, in 
Dannebrog Precinct.  Driving directions to it (for those not knowing 
the road names) would be 4 miles east of Boelus (Hiway 58) and l mile 
north on Salem R

The first Scandinavian Lutheran Church in Howard County was on this 
corner with the cemetery.  It was dedicated on Dec. 28th 1884. Located 
in Section 28, township 13, Range 11 near the "Loup River wagon road".
The church attendance dwindled following the construction of the Lutheran 
Church in Dannebrog and the building was later demolishe Not sure of the
year but many years ago.
 
I imagine the cemetery was dedicated about the same time as the first 
marked grave was the Larson boy in l886.
