Ammerman ... Mildred M. Ammerman, a resident of Nebraska for the past 50 years, was born at Luthersburg, Clarfield County, Pennsylvania, December 8, 1870, the daughter of Walter C. and Elizabeth S. (Pentz) Parker. Her father, a merchant, was born at Crawford, Pennsylvania, April 8, 1814; his Scotch and Irish ancestors came to this country before the Revolution; he died at Eickingville, Pennsylvania, April 8, 1914. Her mother was born at Luthersburg, September 21, 1844, of German parentage, and died at Reynolds, Jefferson County, Nebraska, July 8, 1900. Mrs. Ammerman attended public school and later was a student at the Lincoln Normal College, Lincoln, Nebraska. She is affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal Church in which she has been a member of the board of stewards for the past 12 years. She holds membership in the Degree of Honor, Daughters of the American Revolution, Welfare Club, and the Nebraskana Society. She is a Republican. Of her marriage to U. S. Ammerman one child was born: Helen, born May 19, 1900, who married Paul A. Ude. Residence: Reynolds.
