The Woodlawn Cemetery Association was formed in 1900. At the time of the cemetery association, a person buying a lot became a member of the association. In 1972, the Village of Plymouth took over the management and care of the cemetery. The board meets once a year to discuss business. In 1976, the members adopted by-laws creating a perpetual care fund. It is currently maintained with the interest from the perpetual care fund. There are three civil war veterans buried in the cemetery: Henry Nelson, 1835 - 1910 (Co.M. 4th Wisconsin Vo. Calvary); Andrew W. Waymire, 1842 - 1912 (Co.
