The father, born in Denmark, February 15, 1859, was a farmer and merchant in Nebraska for many years prior to his death at Norman, October 29, 1929. His wife, Thilda, was born in Sweden, September 29, 1854. She resides at Norman. Mr. Andersen attended country school, and has been in business at Norman almost ever since. He was married to Ruth Hildur Bergsten at Minden, on September 10, 1919, and to them two children were born, Eugene Euclid, born August 11, 1920, and Ivan Dale, born September 3, 1923. On August 3, 1931, Mr. Andersen was granted a funeral director’s license. He served as a private in Company C, 309th Ammunition Train, 84th Division, in the World War. Residence: Norman.
