Albers, 82, of Minden, died on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at the Long Term Care Unit of Kearney County Health Services. Funeral services will be on Monday, Aug.15, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden with the Rev. Donald Becker officiating. Burial will be in the Minden Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden on Sunday from 5- 7 p.m. Clara was born on Oct. 5, 1928 in Johnson County to Paul and Ida (Doeden) Halm. SHe confirmed on March 29, 1942 at the Evangelical Reform Church in Syracuse. She went to District 41 county school south of Syracuse and then graduated from Syracuse High School in 1946. On Sept. 30, 1951 she married Erwin Albers and they made their home in Minden. Survivors include two sons, Larry (Cynde) Albers and his wife, Cynde of Knoxville, Tenn, Lloyd Albers of La Porte, Texas; daughter, Vickie Feddersen of Hastings; two grandchildren, Derreck and Kendra; her brother, Eldon Halm and her sister, Elda Boardman, both of Syracuse. She is preceded in death by her husband, Erwin; son in-law, Gary Feddersen and two brothers.
