Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. (M.S.T) at Trinity Lutheran Church in Paxton, with Pastor Judy Gifford and Lay Minister J.A. Welsh, officiating. Burial will be in the Paxton Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, from 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds- Love Funeral Home in Lexington. She was born Feb. 29, 1924, at Paxton, one of 15 children to Oscar and Mary (Braman) Holmstedt.  Carol graduated from Paxton High School in 1942.  She was united in marriage to Clarence “Brownie” Wamsley on Dec.7, 1947, in Paxton.  To this union four children were born: Sandra, Rex, Mike and Janet. Survivors include her two sons, Rex (Cindy) Wamsley of Hickman, Mike Wamsley of Kearney; two daughters,  Sandra Noecker of Grand Island, Janet (Colin) Hinds of Lexington; one sister, Dorothy Fox of Englewood, Colo.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
