Short funeral services were held at the residence at 2 p.m. by the pastor, Rev. Mr. Lemon, and then the remains were taken to Rodgers, Colfax county, for interment. The deceased had lived in Nebraska about thirty years, spending most of the time in Colfax county, where her sons still live on the old homestead. During the past seven years Mrs. Hill has been a resident of University Place. Four children are left to mourn the loss, two daughters, Mrs. Peters of Grass Lake, South Dakota, who was present at the end; and Miss Minnie Hill, and two sons who reside on farms in Colfax county.
