Evelyn Elaine (Cunningham) Young, age 77, of Lincoln, died Thursday, March 20, 
in Lincoln.

Memorial services were Monday, March 24, at the Saint-Paul United  Methodist 
Church in Lincoln with Pastor David Lux officiating. There was no visitation 
as she was cremated.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; five daughters, Kendra (Ken) Hartwig, 
Tara (Jeff) Gottula, Paula (Steve) Kovar, all of Lincoln, Cyndi (Bruce) Fagot 
of York and Janet (Tim) Sorensen of Elmwood; 16 grandchildren, Brendelyn Beck, 
Meghan Frickle, Erin Sandquist, Andrew Hartwig, Jeremy Fagot, Rebecca Huls, 
Benjamin Fagot, Rachel Chavanue, Scott Sorensen, Eric Sorensen, Kristin 
Sorensen, Sara Sorensen, Christian Gates, Kelly Gates, Aubrey Young and Ashley 
Taylor; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Wayne (Marilyn) 
Cunningham of Loveland, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Cory A. Mohler.

She was born July 6, 1930 in Palmer to Clarence Clifford and Robertha Pearle 
(Adamson) Cunningham. 

On Dec. 19, 1948, she was married to Richard Hardin Young of Alliance. To this 
union, five daughters were born.
