Monica ‘Mona’ Lisa Alonzo, age 39, of North Platte, died Tuesday, July 26, 
2011 at her home.  

Christian Wake Service will be 7 p.m., Friday, July 29 at Adams and Swanson 
Funeral Chapel.  Cremation will follow. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 30 at Saint Patrick’s 
Catholic Church with the Rev. James Novakowski officiating.  

Inurnment will follow at the North Platte City Cemetery.  

Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Adams and Swanson Funeral 
Home.

Mona was born Oct. 31, 1971 to Porfiria Alonzo in North Platte.  She was 
raised by her grandparents, Alfonso and Concepion Alonzo.  She attended North 
Platte Public Schools.

Survivors include her mother, Porfiria Alonzo of North Platte; a sister, Tina 
Lopez of Lexington; special friend, Mark Burrell; her baby dog, Jack and many 
other family members.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfonso and Concepion Alonzo.
