G. Barnes The sad intelligence was received in this city Tuesday afternoon, by Mr. A.G. Barnes, announcing the death of his eldest son, Horace Greeley Barnes, at Camp Robinson, Wyoming Territory, on the morning of the 26th of October. Mr. Barnes left Lincoln early in the summer to engage in the stock business with an old friend. Shortly after his arrival in that country he was taken down by pneumonia, and was sick only a few days when death came to his releaf. At the time of his death he was about twenty-two years of age. He was born in Plattsmouth in this state, and was the second white child born in Cass County. He had many friends in Lincoln and Plattsmouth who will regret to hear of his death. The journal extends it's sympathies to the bereaved family.
