LeRoy H. Griese, age 85 of Cozad, died May 26, 2011 at the Golden Living Care 
Home in Cozad.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 
at 2 p.m. at the Ft. McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell with Ethel Fox 
officiating.

Visitation for memorial book signatures will be Monday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. 
at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.

LeRoy was born on Jan.25, 1926 at Gettysburg, S.D. to Henry G. and Lenora A. 
(Breitkreutz) Griese.  He attended rural school in the Gettysburg area. 

On April 20, 1949, LeRoy married Theresa E. Hoffmann at Luverne, Minn.  

Survivors include his three children, Linda M. Twidwell of Rifle, Colo., 
Lynden L. (Carolyn) Griese of Cozad, Jolene E. Wilson of Cozad; five 
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Louis (Fern) Griese of 
Miltona, Minn., Charles (Nancy) Griese of Mankato, Minn., and two sisters, 
Bonnie (Jim) Ingenthron of Dakota Dunes, S.D., and Deanna Griese of 
Alexandria, Minn. 

LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa in 2010; son, Karl and a 
sister, Mildred Bernhagen.
