Funeral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Odean Colonial Chapel At C and Sycamore with Gary Smith officiating. Burial with military honors will be 12:30 p.m. in the Salem East Cemetery near Elwood. Visitation is from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Odean Colonial Chapel. Roger was born on Feb. 5, 1944, at Lexington, to Fritz ‘Fred’ Henry and Susanna ‘Susie’ Marie Lucas Griesfeller. He grew up in the Salem community between Eustis and Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School in 1962. Roger is survived by his brother, Russel (Charlotte) Griesfeller, of North Platte; an aunt, Regena Lucas, of Hastings; his cousins, including, Roland Hanselmann, of Lincoln and Erna Jean Hinkle, of Olatha, Kan.; his many friends including, Alan and Bonnie Little, of North Platte and several nieces, nephews and other family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Susie; a sister, Judy Marie Griesfeller; and a brother, Kent William Griesfeller.
