Mar 20th, 1902 pg 4 Walter Keith Walter Keith, for many years a resident of this county and city, died on the 5th inst. at Forestville, N.Y. He had been failing for some time and went to New York some months ago. He is a brother of the late M. C. Keith and came here in the 60s. Interment was made at New York. Two daughters survive him. Buffalo Commercial (Buffalo, NY) Sun Mar 8, 1902 Special to The Commercial: Silver Creek, March 8.-- Walter Keith, who was for many years a resident of this place and who will be remembered by many as the proprietor of the old Lee House at the depot, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles McNeal of Forestville, and was buried Thursday afternoon in the family lot in Glenwood cemetery. Buffalo Courier (Buffalo, NY) Sun Mar 9, 1902 The remains of Anson Walter Keith of North Platte, Neb., were brought here Thursday for burial, he having died the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles McNeal in Forestville. Mr. Keith was for many years proprietor of the Lee House at this place and will be well remembered by the older citizens and traveling public of twenty-five years ago.
