Beverly Jean (Quinn) Nelson 64, of North Platte, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Jan. 5, 2008 at Carpenter 
Memorial Chapel in North Platte. 

Burial will be at Floral Lawns Cemetery south of North Platte.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Lee Nelson Sr. and their four children, 
Lori Ann (Nelson) Edwards of Lexington, Glenn Lee Jr. ( Loretta )Nelson of 
Wakefield, Kan., Mark Allen Nelson of Tecumseh, and Bradly Dale ( Kristina )
Nelson of North Platte; grandchildren Kenneth Jr., Kyle, and Amber Johnston of 
Gothenburg, Chad, Christopher, and Corey Nelson, and Brianna Billings of 
Wakefield, Kan., Jordan Bak of Mission Hill, S. D., Dakotah Hansen, Calysta 
and Deacon Nelson of North Platte and great-grandchild, James Swanson of 
Brady; sisters, Marilyn J. ( Quinn ) Smith of Lexington, Barbara K. ( Jim ) 
Maloney of Wood River, Joyce A. Wade of Lawton, Okla., and Bonnie R. ( Ron ) 
Daake of Overton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jackie Lee and a 
sister, Shelly Sue.

Beverly was born Jan. 31,1943 in Naponee, to Roland James Quinn and Ethel 
Agnus Metzger. They moved north of Gothenburg, where she attended school at 
Rock Island Elementary in Custer County, later moving to Gothenburg.

Beverly met and later married Glenn Lee Nelson of North Platte, after 
graduating from Gothenburg High School in May of 1961. To this union was born 
four children. Beverly also attended North Platte Community College.

Beverly and Glenn resided in North Platte, Lexington, Cozad and later moved 
back to North Platte to raise their family.
