Morris and his wife Mary yesterday afternoon, and decided that henceforth they should walk the earth as two. Mary was given $200 alimony as a solace. The Nebraska State Journal Wed Dec 7, 1892 Spouse Responds to Divorce Mrs. Mary Morris answers the divorce petition of her husband, Green B. Morris, and says that instead of her refusing to perform household duties for him, he got drunk and abused her. She says, moreover, that Morris left her and her children eight years ago, when she lay sick, and took with him all they had to make a living with. She asks alimony during the pendency of her suit and to pay her attorney's fees.
