The registration of all the boys in the county was held in this city, in preference to having them register in their home towns, as the local board had all information regarding the registration here. The work was in charge of Chairman Clark and Secretary Riggs, they being given volunteer assistance, and the boys began to arrive from every section of the county early in the day many of them being accompanied by their parents. The registrants are compelled to answer the same questions as were the registrants one year ago. The local board has not as yet been advised as to what disposition will be made of those registering at this time, but will have orders within a short time. The rules also call for the registering of young men every three months for those who reach 21 years of age. As the registration continued until 9 o'clock Wednesday evening we are unable to give the exact number registering, but the officials in charge predict that 100 will have registered when it closes.
