Barbara Jean Huhman,54 Friday, Aug. 02, 1996 at St. Bonaventure Catholic 
Church, Columbus, the Rev. Anthony Espinosa and Deacon Art Spenner officiated, 
with burial in the cemetery. Mrs. Huhman died Tuesday, July 30, 1996 at 
Columbus Community Hospital. She was born May 31, 1942, at Columbus to James 
D. and Dorothy M.(Schlesinger)Treadway. She graduated from Columbus High 
School in 1960 and from Kearney State College in 1967. She married E. Louis 
Huhman on June 21, 1963. They lived in the Columbus area. Mrs. Huhman was a 
housewife and a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, member and 
treasurer of Catholic Daughters' of America and was a 4-H leader. Survivors 
include her husband of Columbus; father, James D. Treadway of Columbus; 
daughters; Ann Corona of West Point, Carol, Jennifer, Kristina and Patricia 
Huhman all of Columbus; sons David, James and John Huhman, all of Colulmbus, 
Sisters; Maxine Benson of Odessa, TX and Marilyn Davis of Kearney; and 
granddaughter, Suzanne Huhman of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her 
mother.
