Kammerlohr, age 91, of McCook, formerly of Lexington, died Friday, April 18, 2008, at McCook. Services will be held Friday, April 25, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with the Rev. Michael Churchman officiating. There will also be Military Honors by the Lexington American Legion. It was Maurice’s wishes his body be cremated. Survivors include two sons, Kent Kammerlohr of Carrollton, Texas and Tom (Sharon) Kammerlohr of Sterling, Colo.; one daughter, Linda Waterhouse of Johnson Lake; special friend, Phyllis Marsh of McCook; nine grandchildren, Kelley (Curt) Dachtler of Gothenburg, Tony (Jana) Waterhouse of Choctaw, Okla., Tye (Cherie) Waterhouse of Minden, Todd (Jenny) Waterhouse of Kearney, Amy (Russell) Collins of Lewisville, Texas; Marjorie Kammerlohr of Gainsville, Fla., Emily Kammerlohr of Phoenix, Ariz., Betsy (Ron) Bogie of Pedroni, Colo., and Larry Kammerlohr or Denver, Colo., and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie; and four brothers. Maurice was born Feb. 7, 1917, at Spring Ranch, near Hastings, to Frank and Hazel (Coba) Kammerlohr. He moved with his family to McCook, where he graduated from high school in 1935. Following graduation, Maurice worked for Pat’s Bootery. In 1937, he moved to Lexington where he helped open Pat’s Bootery.
