United States ( Filed for record Sept. 8th, 1875 at 2 o-clock P.M. to ( Patent NICHOLAS SCHIDIGGER Homestead Certificate No. 66 Application 85. The United States of America. To all whom these presents shall come greeting. Whereas there has been deposited in the General Land Office of the United States a certificate of the Register of the Land office at Brownville?, whereby it appears that pursuant to the act of Congress approved 20th day of May 1862. To secure homesteads to actual settlers on the public domain and the acts supplemental thereto the claim of NICHOLAS SCHIDIGGER has been established and duly consummated in confirmity to law for the South half of the South East quarter of Section Eighteen in Township Five North of Range Thirteen East, in the dictrict of Lands formaly subject to sale at Brownsville? now Beatrice Nebraska containing Eighty Acres according to the official Plat of the survey of said land returned to the General Land Office by the surveyer General. Now know ye. That there is therefore granted by the United States unto the said NICHOLAS SCHIDIGGER and to his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony thereof I Ulysses S. Grant, President of the United States of America have caused these Letters to be made Patent and the Seal of the General Office to be hereunto affixed.
