Aron Charles W. Aron was born at Crete, Nebraska, June 28,1869, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Nedela) Aron. His father, who was born in Czechoslovakia, in 1839, was a farmer who came to America in 1867, and settled at Baltimore, Maryland. Later he was married in Chicago, and homesteaded near Crete, where he died October 30, 1908. His mother was born at Msemo, Czechoslovakia, in 1845, and died at Crete, in 1900. Mr. Aron received his education in the public schools of Saline County. He has been an active farmer for many years. He is a member of the Nebraskana Society, and has served on the district school board for several terms. He has been a member of the Sokol Society for over 40 years. He is a Catholic. His marriage to Anna Marcelino was solemnized at Crete, October 21, 1896. Mrs. Aron, who was born at Crete, November 19, 1876, is of Bohemian descent on the maternal side and Portuguese through the paternal line. Four children were born to this union, Emma, born November 6, 1897, who married William Tobiska; Otto, born December 7, 1898, who married Hazel Williams; Gertrude, born June 28, 1900, who married William Boles; and Carl, born June 17, 1902, who married Marie Conrad.
