Aron, owner and manager of the Aron Clothes Shop at Crete, Saline County, Nebraska, has lived in this state all his life. He was born at Crete, October 21, 1881, the son of Charles and Barbara (Dolansky) Aron. His father, who was born in Czechoslovakia, June 9, 1850, and died at Crete, August 18, 1924, was a tailor and merchant for over 50 years. His mother was born in Czechoslovakia, July 8, 1851, and died at Crete, June 4, 1925. Mr. Aron received his education in the grade and high school at Crete. He is a member of the Community Club, the Nebraska Federation of Retailers, the Allied Clothers, and the Crete Golf Club. He is affiliated with the Methodist Church, is a Scottish Rite Mason, and holds membership in the Nebraskana Society. During the World War he was active in Liberty loan drives. He is a Republican. His marriage to Frances Amelia Gilbert was solemnized at Johnson, Nemaha County, Nebraska, August 18, 1914. Mrs. Aron was born at Johnson, the daughter of French and Pennsylvania Dutch parents. Two children were born to this marriage: Charles Gilbert, born November 13, 1916; and Ruth Genevieve, born April 1, 1917, who died February 6, 1925. Residence: Crete.
