Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, March 18, at the Valentine united Methodist Church with burial in the Valentine Cemetery. Mr. Gray had worked for the Nebraska State Game Commission for 44 years until he retired in April 1971. He began his career at the Gretna Fish Hatchery and later transferred to the Valentine Hatchery. Survivors include his wife, Mabel; one daughter; two sons; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He also is survived by two brothers and one sister, one of whom is Mrs. Wallie Wagner of Ashland. Attending the services from Ashland were Mr. & Mrs. Wallie Wagner, Mrs. Orval Cunningham, Mr. & Mrs. George Pike, and Mr. and Mrs. Randall Vosler. Others from out of town were Mr. & Mrs. Garland Gray of Santa Rosa, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Clrence Gray and Everette Wagner of Scapoose, Orel, Mr. and Mrs. Alvie Ward of Maryland and Mr. and Mrs. Van Wagner and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Vosler of Omaha.
