The Zilmer cemetery has been in existence since May 3, 1886 when August and 
Amelia Zilmer donated a piece of ground 13 rods square to the Trustees of the 
Salem Church of the Evangelical Association of North America. The cemetery is 
located one mile west of Stanton, Nebraska on Hgy. 24 and then 1/4 mile north 
on the side of the hill. It is a very small cemetery.
