MATERIAL FOR A HISTORY OF THE HAZELRIGG FAMILY Contributed by Mrs. C. A. Reynolds (Pauline Burkitt), Lincoln, Nebraska The Hazelrigg family was in Kentucky early in the history of the State, as is shown by early deeds of Clark and Montgomery counties. Several members of the family executed deeds very early, and, as the family Bible states, one was born in Prince William County, Virginia. Perhaps the older ones were brothers and sons of one Richard Hazelrigg, whose will was burned when the records of Prince William County were destroyed. Many of the family were residents of Bath County, when it was set off from Montgomery County in 1811. Judg- ----------------------------------------------------------------- GENEALOGICAL RECORD 39 ing from the deeds, some of the family went to Morgan County.
