Omaha Daily Bee Thur May 16,  1907 May 16, 1907

   Local
Fred Burke, murderer of Mr. and Mrs. Copple in
Thurston county, brought to Omaha for safe keeping,
declares he will plead guilty to charge of murder,
as fight would be useless. He will be kept in
Omaha to prevent possible lynching.
