P. Broderson, 71, who passed away at her home on West Platt street, last Friday evening, August 23, 1935, after a lingering illness. The service was in charge of Mrs. FrankKeeney, reader of the Church f Christ Scientist, and burial was made in Mt. Hpe cemetery. Mrs. Alvina Broderson was born in Maquoketa, February 10, 1864, a daughter of George Dahling and Bertha Stender Dahling, and was of German descent. On June 25, 1896 she was married to J. Peter Broderson, who survives. Until a few years ago they made their home in Red Cloud, Nebraska, but since that time have lived in Maquoketa. Besides her husband she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Emma Ibbs, ofioux City and two brothers, George Dahling of this city and Will Dahling of Washington.
