The commander of an amphibious tank which carried marines ashore, Platoon Sgt. "Those guns were looking straight down our throats." He was wounded in one arm, between the elbow and wrist and is now in the hospital but the injury came from the bullet of a sniper as he was pushing inland after landing. Sgt.
