ELDRIDGE, ELISHA, lived in town as a farmer, some fifty or more years, on the place now known 
as the Lemuel Starkweather place. He had, by his wife, whose maiden name was Cynthia Hanks, as 
many as eight, and perhaps more, children.
I. Sally, b. Jan. 2,1787; m. Samuel Grant, of Alstead.
II. Silas H., b. Feb. 18,1789.
III. Almira, b. March 24,1794; m. Lemuel Starkweather. (See Starkweather.)
IV. Percis, b. Aug. 5,1796; m. Archibald Starkweather. (See Starkweather.)
V. Cynthia, b. Nov. 13, 1799; m. ----.
VI. Elisha, jr., b. Jan. 7, 1803.
VII. Horatio, b. June 10, 1805; he was a sailor.
VIII. Sophronia, b. 1810, and d. Sept. 28,1816.

ELDRIDGE, JOHN, with his wife Jerusha, lived in town contemporaneously with the foregoing 
Elisha; but where he lived and to whom he was related is not known: he may have been a brother 
of Elisha Ch.

III. Harried, b. Sept 26, 1798.
IV. Fanny, b. Aug. 6, 1800.
