WILLIAM PARKINSON BUCKLEY was born in Littleton, May 4, 1865, and died of pneumonia January 10, 1906, in his forty-first year. Receiving his primary education in the Littleton schools, graduating from Dartmonth College in the class of 1887, admitted to the law firm of Jordan and Drew, he soon became one of the most promising young lawyers in the north country. He was commissioned general on the staff of Governor Jordan, was an active member of the House of Representatives in 1903, and served as speaker of the mock session.
