Bio: Alexander Williams :Grafton, Grafton Co, New Hampshire From Gazetteer of Grafton County, NH 1709-1886 -Grafton Compiled & published by Hamilton Child 1886 Alexander Williams, son of Samuel, who served in the Revolution, was a native of Taunton, Mass., came to Grafton, in 1786, at the age of five years, and was among the first settlers on road 41. He married Candace Martin and reared ten children. His son Martin married Angeline Caswell, and died on the way to California, in 1851. Leroy D., son of Martin, married Ellen, daughter of Jeremiah and Jane (Sanborn) Philbrick, of Springfield, N.
