We bind ourselves, and each of us our several & respective heirs, executors & administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals. Dated the first day of October Anno Domini 1794. ----------------------------------------------------------- The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden Isaac Paterson who is appointed guardian over Solomon Bayley & Anna Bayley, both of Piermont, Aforesaid minors --- and of fourteen years of age, shall well & truly perform & discharge the trust office & duty of Guardian unto the said minors & that in & by all things according to law & shall render a plain & true account of her guardianship upon oath & all & singular such estate as shall come to his hands & possession by virtue thereof & all the property & improvements of the same so far as the law will charge him therewith when he shall be thereunto lawfully required & shall pay & deliver what & so much of the said estate as shall be found upon his account remaining in his hands. The same being first examined & allowed by the Judge or Judges of said Court for the time then being, unto the said minors when they shall arrive to full age or otherwise as the said Judge or Judges by his or their sentence &r decree pursuant to law shall limit & appoint, then the above obligation to be void.
