H., 1918 Warrant for Town Meeting [L. s.] To the inhabitants of the town of Enfield, in County of Grafton and State of New Hampshire, qualified to vote in town affairs: You are hereby notified to meet in Whitney Hall, in said Enfield, on Tuesday, the I2th day of March next, at 9 o'clock in the forenoon, to act on the following subjects: I. To choose by ballot and major vote, a Town Clerk, three Selectmen, Treasurer, Overseer of the Poor, one Library Trustee for three years, and one or more (not exceeding three) Highway Agents. 2. To choose by ballot one Trustee, for three years for the purpose of holding all trust funds of the town. 3. To choose all other officers and agents necessary to be chosen. 4. To see how much money the town will vote to raise to defray town charges, for the ensuing year. 5. To see how much money the town will vote to raise for the support of highways for the ensuing year. 6. To see if the town will take any action in re- gard to delivery of blank inventories. 7. To see how much money the town will vote to raise to repair Shaker bridge. 8. To see how much money the town will vote to raise to repair sidewalks for the ensuing year. 9. To see what action the town will take in regard to collection of taxes for the ensuing year. 10. To see how much money the town will vote to raise for support of the public library for the ensuing year. 11. Pursuant to a petition of ten or more legal vo- ters of the Town of Enfield, to see if the town will raise money sufficient to wire and light the town hall, at En- field Center . 12. To see if the town will vote to raise and set aside $2,500.00 for construction of Mascoma road; to se- cure $5,500.00 of State and Federal money, making a joint fund of $8,000,00, agreeable to chapter 8, session laws of 1917. 13. To see if the town will instruct the selectmen to call oUt the County Commissioners to discontinue the road leading from the old town farm to the Grantham line. 14. To see if the town will vote to raise the amount necessary to procure State aid for maintenance of our State aid roads. 15. To hear the reports of the agents, auditors; committees, or other officers heretofore chosen and pass any vote relating thereto, and transact any other busi- ness that may legally come before said meeting.
