Peter POWERS of Newbury; (born April 11, 1741); was at Lexington and Bunker Hill; Grantee of Plymouth, N. H., where he lived; removed to Newbury and served 8 months in Captain Lovewell's Co.; taken prisoner Aug. 10, 1781, and carried to Canada; exchanged May 17, 1782; removed to New York State where he died. -- [His. of Plymouth, N.
