Hazlett, Richmond-Arnold Publishing Co., Chicago, Ill., 1915 Page 922 HON. MOSES B. DOW, who died at his home on Sweet Hill Road in the town of Plaistow, November 2, 1909, was born in Piaistow, N. H., Janu- ary 23, 1837, and had always lived in his native town. His parents were Mosas A. and Julia A: (Bragdon) Dow. After leaving school he became en- gaged in the carriage business and was a successful manufacturer for over forty years, retiring about 1899. He was prominently identified with state and 'county affairs, as well as with town affairs, having served on state com- mitties many times, as county commissioner for two years, and as selectman a number of terms. At three different times he represented his town in the legislature and until his death was keenly interested in all the affairs of the, day. He was a member of Gideon Lodge of Masons in Kingston. Mr. Dow married Miss Alice Emerson of Haverhill, who died November 6, 1896. He is survived by a sister, Miss Annie L.
