Mrs Catherine Howe died Monday morning at 3:30 o'clock at the home, 40 Walnut St, of pneumonia, after a short illness. Mrs Howe had been a reesident of this city for the last thrity-seven years. She was a native of (Galway Co, my note) Ireland. The survivors are her husband, John Howe, one son Policeman John F. Howe; four daughters, the Misses Annie, Sarah, Cora and Agnes Howe, all of this city; two brothers, Thomas Kennedy of New York and James Kennedy of Ireland; two sisters Ann Kennedy and Mrs Mary Moore of this city. Mrs Howe, for many years attended St Anne's church where she was a member of the Church Debt Society.
