He was born in Ireland, came to this country in 1861, and with the exception of two years spent in Gilmanton, was a resident of Manchester since that time. He is survived by a widow, two daughters, Mrs Sarah A. Philpott and Ella R. Howe; tow sons, John F. and William J Howe; three grandchildren, S. Louise Philpott, Katherine G. Philpott, and Raymond Howe; also three brothers, John and Michael Howe of this city, and William Howe of Stone City IA.
