HOWE, for 60 years a resident of Manchester died at his home, 642 Maple St, yesterday morning. He is survived by one son, John F. Howe of this city, and four daughters, Miss Anne M. Howe, Mrs Lawrence F. Hurley and Sister Marie Celestine of the order of Mercy, all of this city, and Mrs Paul Connor of Worcester MA. Mr Howe was an attendent of St Joseph's Cathedral. Aug 13, 1923, page 6, Union Leader, Manchester NH: John HOWE, The funeral of John Howe took place from the family residence 642 Maple St, Monday morning. Relatives and friends assembled at St Jospeh;s Cathedral where, at 9 o'clock, a solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated by Rev Francis Hogan, assisted by Rev John Driscoll as deacon and Rev James. B. Murphy as sub deacon of the mass. The bearers were Joseph Delory, Edward McLaughlin, Michael Wheeler, Martin Whelan, Michael Lawlor and Michael McDonough. The carriers were John Kean, Charles B. Sullivan, Edward J. O'Neill, and Henry J. Berwin. Under the direction of Michael J. Whelan burial was made in the family lot in St Joseph's cemetery were beautiful flowers were placed on the grave. The committall services was read by Rev Francis Hogan. Mr and Mrs Michael Whalen of Lawrence MA attended the funeral service. Joseph M.
