BICKFORD Cora I. Bickford, wife of Charles E. Bickford, passed away after a short illness at her home in the Shoreyville district Nov 9th. Mrs. Bickford was born Feb. 12, 1859, in the house where she died. She was the daughter of Nathaniel L. and Rosanna (Ellis) Shorey, being the youngest of thirteen children, all of whom, but one, lived to maturity, married and became parents. She is survived by her husband and three children, Mrs. Laurel T. Roberts, Harold E. and Everett S. Bickford, Everett being a twin brother of the late Frederick S. Bickford, who died last March, also ten grand- children, one sister, Mrs. Frank Stuart, and thirty nieces and nephews. Her chief interest centered in her family. She was in every way a most devoted mother. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the home, Hervey Edgerly directing and Rev. Roger Thompson officiating. The floral tribute was exceptionally large and beautiful.
