Oeser RINDGE, N.H. - Paul R. Oeser, 66, of 37 Mountain Road, died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at his home following a period of illness. Born Aug. 29, 1932, in Lawrence, Mass., he was the son of Richard H. and Lois (Milliken) Oeser. He was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and a 1954 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor's degree in history. An Air Force veteran, he served more than 11 years. For more than 21 years, he was a pilot for American Airlines up until his retirement in 1987. He enjoyed playing slow-pitch softball in the Jaffrey and Rindge, N.H., areas. He started and ran a softball league in southern California prior to moving to Rindge. He was the husband of Roberta K. (Parsons) Oeser. In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Paul R. Oeser III of Riverside, Calif., and Eric R. Oeser of Westminster, Calif.; two daughters, Karen O. Meyers of Rindge, N.H., and Abby A. Oeser of Northfield, N.H.; five brothers, Richard Oeser of San Diego, James Oeser of Phoenix, Ariz., Robert Oeser, Stephen Oeser and David Oeser, all of Eliot, Maine; two sisters, Nancy Shapleigh and Sarah Lewin, both of Eliot; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Margherita Mazeau NEWINGTON - Mrs. Margherita (de Rochemont) Mazeau, 75, of 315 Newington Road, died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Born Aug. 14, 1923, in Medford, Mass., she was the daughter of Percy and Jeanette (Pugh) de Rochemont. In 1931, they moved back to the family homestead in Newington. She attended the one-room school in Newington and was a graduate of Portsmouth High School, Class of 1941, and the University of New Hampshire, Class of 1944. During World War II, she worked at Camp Langdon, where she met her husband, who at the time was chief in charge of Navy detachment at Fort Stark. For several years, she worked in Boston as a title examiner while attending Boston University Law School. Very active in Newington affairs, she was editor of the "Newington Neighbor" for 25 years; a member of the Newington Town Church; a member of the Newington Historical Society and Newington Historical District; and acted as 4H leader for Newington and Greenland for a number of years. Before 1972, when McIntire Road connected the two parts of town, she ran a branch library in her home in South Newington. She was the wife of John R. Mazeau for 49 years. In addition to her husband, survivors include three sons, John D. Mazeau of Columbus, Ohio, and Michael Mazeau and Daniel Mazeau, both of Newington; a daughter, Linda Khalsa of Newington; six grandchildren; a sister, Jane Alley of Albany, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Mazeau, in 1989. Joseph F. Clohecy BARRINGTON - Joseph Francis Clohecy, 45, of 42 Emerald Acres, died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at Harborview Trauma Center in Seattle, Wash. Born Aug. 6, 1953, in Haverhill, Mass., he was the son of Gerald F. and Mary Eva (Fitzgerald) Clohecy. He was employed as a steam engineer with Salem Power Plant in Salem, Mass. He had also worked for Haverhill Box Board, Continental Container, and Elliot Rose Co. of Madbury, N.H. A veteran, he served in the Navy. He was a member of the American Legion Post 114 of Barrington and was a former Boy Scout 1st Class, Troop 88, of Groveland, Mass. Survivors include his parents, of Barrington; three children, Mitchell, Erin and Morgan Clohecy; two brothers, Mark Clohecy of Merrimac, Mass., and Philip Clohecy of Barrington; two sisters, Claudia Zehrin of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Mrs. Allan (Elizabeth) Neale of Amesbury, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Sharon Anderson PORTSMOUTH - Sharon Anderson, 60, formerly of Dover, N.H., and a longtime resident of South Berwick, Maine, died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at her home following a period of failing health. Born Aug. 21, 1938, in South Berwick, she was the daughter of Harry A. and Mildred E. (Cunningham) Lang. She was the owner-operator of Kittery Travel, initially located in Kittery and later operated in Eliot. She later worked for Seaport Travel in Portsmouth. She was a member of the Cocheco Country Club. She was the wife of John R. Anderson for 25 years. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Melodee Hann of Portsmouth; seven sons, Gary Hann of Browns Mills, N.J., Larry Hann of South Berwick, Mark Hann of Tampa, Fla., Mark Anderson, Mike Anderson and Matthew Anderson, all of Norman, Okla., and James Anderson of Springdale, Ark.; and two grandsons, Ryan and Christopher Hann, of Browns Mills, N.J.
