Beatrice L. Stocks 

BROOKLINE, Mass. - Beatrice L. Stocks, 91, of Brown Street, formerly of 
Exeter, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, in a Newton, Mass., nursing home after a
lengthy illness. 

She was born Oct. 15, 1909, in Exeter, the daughter of the late Thomas and 
Cary (Shaw) Stocks. 

She was a 1926 graduate of Pittsfield High School and a 1930 graduate of 
Simmons College. 

Miss Stocks was a secretary at the Wentworth Institute of Boston. 

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Pittsfield Chapter. 

She is survived by five cousins, John Alconada and Robert Alconada, both of 
Everett, Mass., Joseph Stocks of Punta Gorda, Fla., Barbara Collins of 
Kensington and Shirley Schofield of Lakewood, N.J. 

Funeral services were held Thursday in the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter. 
Burial was in Exeter Cemetery.
