Born July 4, 1910, in Portsmouth, he was the son of Asa and Alice (Rhinewaldt) Craig. He was a graduate of Portsmouth High School, a Navy veteran and was employed as an accountant with Moore Business Forms until his retirement in May 1975. He was a Dover resident since 1940. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hockey, hiking and baseball. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Persis Emily (Dunton) Craig of Dover; two sons, Ernest of Dover and Edward of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. John (Lorraine) Dalgety of Farmington; three grandchildren, William and Timothy Craig and Karen Haley; and two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Sarah. He was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence, and a sister, Gertrude. CRAIG - Arnold Adams Craig, 90, of 11 Elliott Park, Dover, died Nov. 30, 2000. Friends and relatives may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, with the Rev. David L. Slater, pastor, First Parish Church, Congregational, officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
