Eaton NORTH HAMPTON - Arthur W. Eaton, 74, of 34 Hobbs Road, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at Seacoast Health Center. He was born Jan. 27, 1926, in Merrimac, Mass., the son of William A. Eaton of Merrimac and the late Myrtle (Hoyt) Eaton. He was raised in Merrimac and had resided in North Hampton for 40 years. He was educated in Merrimac schools and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Eaton was a pipefitter at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for many years. Following his retirement he enjoyed helping people do odd jobs around their homes. He was a former coach for the North Hampton Youth Association softball and Little Leagues and volunteered with the Cub Scouts. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna E. (King) Eaton of North Hampton; one son and his wife, Donald B. and Deirdre Eaton of Derry; one daughter, Debra A. Eaton of North Hampton; and two grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in United Church of Christ, Atlantic Avenue, North Hampton. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, North Hampton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Child & Family Services, P.O.
