She was born Oct. 24, 1948 in Sanford, Maine, the daughter of Jean P.M. and Alma L. (Thibodeau) Morin of Sanford. She attended Sanford schools, graduating in 1966. She resided most of her life in Sanford until moving to Bethel, Maine in 1975. She lived in the Seacoast area since the early 1980s. Mrs. Curtis worked as a hair dresser at A Cut Above Hair Salon in Seabrook, before owning and operating her own salon, Family Hair Care, in North Hampton from 1984 until 1994. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Marcia L. Ancker of Chicago, Ill.; a brother, Stephen Morin of Sanford; two sisters, Paula Morin of Wells, Maine, and Patricia Tims of Winston-Salem, N.C.; her companion, Terrence Gordon of Hampton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Goodwill Industries of Northern New England, 2454 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, N.H. 03801.
